AutoInventory uses digital, maintenance-free vibrating wire scales to determine stock levels and consumption and derives requirements from this. It takes ordering rhythms, weekends and public holidays into account. This means that you never run the risk of bottlenecks again, as AutoInventory knows which goods need to be ordered earlier or in larger quantities, e.g. due to upcoming public holidays. These requirements are ordered from the merchandise management system without media discontinuity. This means you always have exactly the material you need on site.

If you have items in your stockroom that are difficult to store (e.g. catheters) or extremely expensive (e.g. implants), RadioInventory is the solution for you. Using the latest RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) hardware, the system recognises every single item in the stockroom at all times – including all associated information such as serial numbers, batches, etc. Items remain in storage until they are taken out by care staff. RadioInventory constantly calculates the requirements for all items and reorders them automatically. This minimises the amount of effort involved in inventory management.

Key functionalities of RadioInventory

Stock and consumption assessment

• The RFID antennas always know exactly how many and, more importantly, what items are in the warehouse. RadioInventory calculates the exact consumption over the course of time.

Traceability

• Tags are marked with the item number and, where applicable, serial number, batch and other information. When an item is removed from stock, this data is recorded and optionally reported back to the third-party system.

Replenishment ordering

• Inventory is managed fully automatically and the appropriate replenishment quantity is requested at the right time.

Assigning of items to the person responsible for the withdrawal

• Thanks to the additional authentication option, items are assigned to the person responsible for removing them and can subsequently be linked to the relevant patient case or cost centre in the system.

The scanner-based management solution – either for simple requirements (traditional module management) and/or for special processes, such as consignment stock in the OT, etc. Simply use the hand-held scanner or smartphone to manage items via a guided, flexible process that adapts to your needs. Like all products, when calculating the replenishment quantity, the system takes account of dynamic ordering parameters and suggests the required amount.
